Team Leader
Long time no blog. Seems like I say that a lot hehehe. Woah it's my first week of being a team leader. I forgot how big my team has grown. I keep thinking it's just the guys in Sydney which has grown to 7 people and then another 3 in Newcastle. Plus we're getting another two grads.
Good thing I'm only a deputy - so the stress is temporary. The only bad thing is no one has trained me in using any management tools - which is slightly annoying because I had to figure out everything myself. Oh wells. I hope this is a step in the right direction to being a Project manager. I don't really care much for being a support team leader. I'm just glad I don't have command of the other Java team - since everyone from that team has virtually resigned and they are so under resourced it's not funny.
Hopefully I can get more experience managing people.
